The Playa Blanca Hotel is situated on the outskirts of S'Illot. From its favourable location, guests are within walking distance of both the beach and the tourist centre. Countless shops as well as restaurants, bars, pubs and nightclubs are located in the immediate vicinity. Public transport links are located within a few paces of the hotel's entrance, enabling easy access into the city centre.

The Playa Blanca Hotel was built in 1990, renovated in 2001 and consists of a 6-storey building with a total of 102 rooms, of which 14 are singles and 88 are doubles. Various facilities are available to guests including a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk.

Additional facilities include a safe, a currency exchange desk, 2 lifts, a car park, a caf, a bar, a TV room and an Internet terminal (for an additional fee). The hotel also features a air-conditioned restaurant with a non-smoking area and highchairs available for small children. Room services are available as well as medical assistance to round off the services on offer. The hotel's facilities include a spacious 3,000-m garden.
